Some seemingly minor decisions at the local level?can?have far reaching implications because of?their precedent.? Others by regulators can set the stage for protracted battles or delay for what may prove to be worthwhile, and necessary, projects.? Businesses and entrepreneurs take initiatives to solve problems or fill the void with environmental projects or products.
Launched in beta version in April,?2013,? air water earth – new england is a comprehensive collection of environmental news, opinion and insight?from media outlets in?six New England states.? Some stories are local in nature, but may indicate a trend.? Others may report on issues affecting millions of New England residents, their lifestyles and their jobs.? Land-use, water quality and supply, waste management, energy, sustainability and more.? We’ll do our best to find all of those stories from reliable publications and broadcasts?and post them?for?you here.
